A brand founded to carve out “immersive audio-visual experiences dedicated to crafting magical journeys for those seeking unforgettable memories” through their many raves, parties, and themed events, SET Underground now sizes up a specially tailored New Year’s Eve party within a natural cenote at Vesica Club, Mexico.
This “Midnight Sparkle Mirage”-themed NYE gathering is equipped to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience, ferrying in festivities rendered by the spectacular dazzle of a starry night with the free-spirited, avant-garde essence of Burning Man.
Chucked in are offerings such as gourmet delights and signature cocktails, a midnight fireworks display, fire and flow performers, and a sensory rejuvenating landscape packed with an array of shimmering lights, LED installations, glowing sculptures, and immersive art displays.
Driving the music is a bevy of gifted artists, curated to forge an unforgettable celebration. Turkish-born and Miami-based songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and live artist Bora Uzer is penciled in to orchestrate a five-hour session. This visit to Mexico arrives on the back of Bora Uzer’s performance at the 2024 Tierra De Los Muertos Festival, also organized by SET Underground.
From Tierra De Los Muertos, Swedish act Julia Sandstorm is also featured on the artist card. Her eclectic productions offer portions of tribal, Latin, and melodic house music pinched with blues beats and slices of rock and roll. German musician Christian Loeffler, who dishes out sets shrouded with techno, deep house, ambient, and electronica, joins the line-up, alongside countryman Parra for Cuva, Swiss-French DJ and producer Deer Jade, and Ricardo Lagunes, who operates under Lagunes JR.
To add to the ambiance, attendees are encouraged to dress in dazzling attire adorned with sequins, sparkles, metallics, etc., mirroring the eclectic and artistic nature while embracing the elegance and magic of a starlit night.
