Season 14 of Rocket League has just kicked off, and with it comes a selection of new car bodies, a brand-new arena variant, and much more. We have listed down every major change coming to Season 14 of Rocket League as well as the upcoming Rocket League Championship Series 2024 major for which ticket sales are live.
Rocket League’s Season 14 came live on March 6, 2024, and brought forth the underwater theme with two new car bodies, the Admiral and Mako, that use the same hitbox as the Dominus and Breakout. The patch notes confirm that the new cars will be available in Rocket Racing and Rocket League due to cross-game ownership. The latest season will also feature a brand new map called the AquaDome, which is an underwater map that uses a lighter, sharkless tone than the original version. An added feature to the new and improved AquaDome is lo-fi music, which is also the theme song for this season, titled ‘Ghost,’ by Direct.
Everything new coming to Season 14 of Rocket League has been listed above; however, if you play the competitive game mode, you’ll receive the previous season’s rewards. It includes the dynamic decals that sync to whichever in-game music is being played at the time. Developers at Psyonix have done a few touch-ups along the way for the competitive game mode that saw the replacement of Competitive Snow Day with Competitive Dropshot. Within the patch notes, you’ll also find Season 14’s rewards, which are laser-themed and include a brand new goal explosion animation, laser beam boost, and laser trail.
In case you’re planning on purchasing or have already bought the battle pass for this season, you’ll be unlocking Fishscale Paint Finish, Scale-Veil Decal, Kelp Antenna, Atlantis Goal Explosion, Snorkel Mask Topper, and more as you make your way through the Season 14 battle pass.
Rocket League will also have a major tournament coming up towards the end of this month. The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2024 Major 1 will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, at K.B. Hallen Arena on March 28 – 30, featuring the best Esports teams and players who will display their A-game.
