Marvellous Island Festival
Marvellous Island Festival, much like its name, is a quaint French music event that returns for its eleventh edition this year and is a notable festival in the country’s electronic music realm. Kicking off on May 27, the two-day music festival will see over 90 well-known names to undiscovered gems from the dance music scene take the festival stage in Paris.
Of the four stages at Marvellous Islands, Héctor Oaks, Coco Bongo, Thurman, German DJ/producer Sven Väth, among many other talented acts, will head to the festival for the first day, Meanwhile, Uzume, Brina Knauss, French DJ Nico Moreno, and duo Polo & Pan are confirmed for day 2! A cozy campsite housing about 1500 people is also near the festival.
Solidays
One way to donate to a good cause while having the time of your life is by attending Solidays. This music festival donates its profits to help in the fight against AIDS and HIV. From June 23 – 25, Solidays 2023 will bring the Nigerian ‘Calm Down’ singer Rema, Belgian singer-songwriter Angèle, French hip-hop duo Bigflo & Oli, J Balvin, Shaka Ponk, Sofiane Pamart, and more to Hipódromo de París-Longchamp in Paris.
We Love Green
Held at the Vincennes Woods Park in Paris, We Love Green is much more than a music festival, with it also helping raise awareness about environmental issues. In addition to the multi-genre music coming from multiple stages, this eco-friendly festival offers talks, workshops about the environment, food, art, comedy, and a bunch of exciting activities.
We Love Green is set to host NxWorries (Anderson .Pakk & KNWLEDGE), Canadian house music DJ/producer Jayda G, Grammy-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems, rapper Pusha T, and singer-songwriter Caroline Polachek at this event. Also flocking to the festival between June 2-4 are Honey Dijon, rapper Channel Tres, dance music superstar Skrillex, British rapper Little Simz, English producer/DJ Nia Archives, rapper 070 Shake, indie folk band Bon Iver, and English DJ/producer and singer Eliza Rose.
Rock En Seine
Thousands of people gather at Domaine de Saint-Cloud to witness the rising talents and major pop and rock acts perform at Rock En Seine. This year, the festival will also see exhibitions, talks, along with other fun things to do. Celebrate summer at this unforgettable music festival with ‘Happier Than Ever’ singer Billie Eilish, the five-piece rock band The Strokes, Florence + the Machine, The Chemical Brothers, and Placebo take the Rock En Seine stage.
The festival has also booked Charlotte de Witte, Flavien Berger, Belgian-Egyptian singer Tamino, indie rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tove Lo, girl in red, 3x Grammy-nominated indie rock band Wet Leg, and singer-songwriter Angel Olsen, and many more!
Lollapalooza Paris
If you want to attend a music festival to find some next-level French food from the capital city’s first-class chefs, Lollapalooza Paris is for you! Lollapalooza is coming to Paris for its fifth edition this July! With K-pop group Stray Kids as the headliner on day 1, July 21 will see performances from French rapper Niska, Canadian DJ/producer Rezz, and Damso, while Imanu will do a b2b set with The Caracal Project.
Lil Nas X, Niall Horan, CloZee, and Kygo are among the acts that will join headliner Rosalía at Lollapalooza Paris on July 22, while OneRepublic, Malian-French Aya Nakamura, and British rapper Central Cee are on the line-up with Kendrick Lamar, who will headline the third day of the event (July 23). Don’t forget to enjoy some street food from all around the world!
Peacock Society Festival
Mark your calendars for two days of incredible music at Peacock Society, which celebrates ten years on July 8 and 9 this year. The line-up and more details are yet to be announced, but what we’re certain of is that this is an unmissable event for electronic music lovers! Party until the sun shines on you at The Peacock Society this July.
The Peacock Society has tapped the likes of Belgian DJ/producer Amelie Lens, Boys Noize, Sherelle, South Korean DJ/producer Peggy Gou, Mano Le Tough, Charlotte de Witte, Moodymann, and Nina Krviz. Dance to the music of over 40 acts across four stages at this open-air music festival.
