German music producer and creator of his own ‘High-Tech Minimal’ genre, Boris Brejcha returns after a four-year break with another splendid holiday mix! Ten of his unreleased works are included in the hour-long setlist that was recently made available online. This eighth edition marks the masked musician’s return to a series of annual Christmas mixes.
Boris Brejcha began presenting his annual Christmas mixes all the way back in 2012. A decade into this venture, Brejcha took to the piers of Frankfurt to host a techno-infused Christmas party this year. Overlooking the calm river waters and scenic Frankfurt city, attendees swarm around the turntables, all donning Christmas-related attire. Away from his beloved Joker Mask, Brejcha is seen wearing a red Christmas-themed jumper.
The DJ is responsible for writing and producing each track on this mix. Brejcha opens with ‘Astralis,’ shifts to a techno tune ‘Dancing Monkeys,’ and receives arguably the biggest crowd reaction during ‘Falling Sky.’ The camera work during the set includes shots of the city, river, boats sailing by, turntables, and an energetic crowd.
The Christmas mix was widely received and appreciated on social media!
