This live events haven is set for an ultimate shake-down rattling with Captain Bass from Belgium, UK residents Saint Ludo, Scruz, and Murphy’s Law. Split across two stages, the card also brags the likes of Justin Tsoi, best known as Ciko, Jed Smith aka Not Well, Rova, RAIAN (Ryan Nelson), Danni, Slaps, duo Kangs, and Warlow on support duties.
Belgium export Joran Alaerts, under the alias Captain Bass, who is known for his jump-up style of DnB production, returns to the land down under after capping off a successful debut tour in 2023. London-based Ludovica Guerrieri, aka Saint Ludo, ventures into Auckland on the heels of three appearances in Australia and a boatload of concerts across the UK.
Leicester-based brothers Sonny and Finn Murphy, who flail out house and tech house music under the moniker Murphy’s Law, make their way to Auckland as part of their ‘Murphy’s Law Down Under Tour,’ announced back in July this year. Via social media, they expressed, “It feels incredible to announce that we will be heading to Australia & New Zealand for the first time later this year, where we will be laying down the law over 5 knock-out dates!”
Meanwhile, Bristol’s rapidly rising music producer Scruz described performing in AUNZ as a “pipe dream 2 years ago,” adding “can’t wait to get sweaty and feral in the rave.” Scruz’s eight-city tour of AUNZ culminates at this shindig. Famed for ‘Eyes On Me,’ ‘Say My Name,’ and ‘Let You Go,’ Rova arrives on the back of their latest release ‘Hell Hound’ and also an ongoing massive tour of Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
DJ Not Well, hailing from Sneels Beach, trotted through old rock music to rap and hip-hop before creating a brand in electronic music. Speaking about his upcoming schedule, the artist told us, “I have four shows left for the year, two being the Red Rum Long Weekender and Hidden Valley festival. It was always my biggest goal to play that festival with it being in my home town. I can’t wait to party with you all this Summer and send out 2024 in style.”
