“India’s Greatest Eco-Friendly Festival” returns to Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, for its eleventh edition with Hanumankind, Saniya MQ, Sushant KC, and Benjamin Sum, among other exciting acts.
Taking place in Arunachal Pradesh, the Ziro Music Festival sets the stage for artists from the independent music scene, not just hailing from India but from different parts of the world, at a scenic location. This year, the festival will be held from September 26 – 29, 2024, in the Ziro Valley. The festival is known for putting an emphasis on sustainability practices such as composting, prohibiting single-use plastic, and reusing locally sourced eco-friendly materials.
Ziro Festival 2024 is already shaping up to be an unmissable event, with stunning acts like ‘Big Dawgs’ hitmaker Hanumankind, Sarthak Mudgal & Airbass, Burmese singer Benjamin Sum, Nepali singer-songwriter Sushant KC, Mumbai’s Saniya MQ, rock outfit Parvaaz, and guitarist/composer Sutej Singh hailing from Himachal Pradesh bringing their magic to the musical gathering in Arunachal Pradesh next month.
The festival is also set to host international acts like The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band from Thailand, Sweden’s psychedelic rock quartet Hollow Ship, Bottlesmoker from Indonesia, techno DJ/producer Modest Crew, and Singapore’s Amateur Takes Control. Featuring three stages that highlight the finest talents who will keep you entertained throughout the festival, Ziro is also the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Multi-genre experimental band Gowwli, Fakira, Sarthak Mudgal from Delhi, Hanita Bhambri, and Tripura’s Sadagar Debbarma will hit the Donyi stage, while the Polo stage will see performances from the likes of Manipur’s alternative rock band Solace Her, rapper and singer-songwriter Dabzee, Ballimaaraan – The Piyush Mishra Project, H.O.M. from Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh’s very own Carolina Norbu, among other amazing talents. The Takar stage at Ziro Festival 2024 is an all-live sets space featuring Hamza Rahimtula x Rajasthan Folkstars, DJ Aayna, EDM artist Spryk, Shawn Moses & Film Presents: MO/SS, and more.
