The Chainsmokers and Alesso are all set to headline the Palm Tree Music Festival in Australia with shows across three cities this December.
The American electronic duo comprising Andrew Taggart and Alex Pali, who are best known for the tunes ‘Closer,’ ‘Don’t Let Me Down,’ ‘Something Just Like This’ and ‘Paris,’ will be heading to Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne in December 2024 to lead the bill alongside Swedish DJ/producer Alesso.
The first show of the dance music festivities will be held at the Sydney Showground on Friday, December 6. Day Two will see the merriment unfold on December 7 at the Sandstone Point Hotel in Brisbane. Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne will host the third and final date of the festival on Sunday, December 8.
Scheduled to grace the Palm Tree Music Festival Lake Tahoe stage this July, Gryffin has been announced as a special guest at the string of shows that will be held in Australia in 2024. New York-born DJ/producer and songwriter Austin Millz and singer-songwriter Daya, who has won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for featuring on ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ by The Chainsmokers, are also the special guests at Palm Tree Music Festival Australia.
Since its inception in 2020, the Palm Tree Music Festival has brought a number of incredible artists to stunning locations in the Hamptons, Hawaii, and Aspen this year alone. ‘It Ain’t Me’ hitmaker Kygo and Myles Shear “had a shared dream of living a tropical lifestyle while bringing the crew together through magical moments and experiences,” as per the festival’s website, and have since offered unforgettable memories to revelers all around the world.
