LOCUS Festival Heads to Bali Featuring a Star-Studded Line-up

Following its third and latest five-day Mexican fiesta in Tulum, LOCUS is making its way to Southeast Asia for its debut edition.

After throwing some of the finest drum & bass parties in the UK for over two decades, LOCUS first announced its debut edition in 2022 in Tulum, Mexico – a place that reveres house and techno music; and just three editions in, LOCUS Tulum has become the quintessential drum & bass gathering of the Americas.

Such has been the impact of the festival; stacked line-ups, stunning locations, and carefully directed day-wise curations have made LOCUS a unique drum & bass experience in paradise. Shortly after concluding its third edition a few weeks ago, the festival is now making its way to Southeast Asia in Bali for its debut edition.

Scheduled for June 14-16 in Nuanu, Bali, LOCUS has pieced together a line-up that is almost never heard of in Southeast Asia. Continuing its penchant for hosting drum & bass parties in tropical settings alongside a star-studded line-up from Tulum to Bali, LOCUS has once again delivered on its promise of bringing the pioneers, modern-day superstars, and a host of local talent for its debut edition in Bali.

Right off the bat, phase one of the LOCUS Bali line-up begins with the drum & bass and jungle ‘originators’ Fabio & Grooverider, followed by fellow pioneer and the founder of Hospital Records, London Elektricity.

Celebrated bass music duo Ivy Lab will bring their twisted rhythms to Bali for the first time, accompanied by the supreme selections of modern-day drum & bass heavyhitters like Lens, TC, Pola & Bryson, Fred V, and Monty.

LOCUS Bali will get to witness the legendary Jenna G’s soulful voice, an act that has contributed to the genre in a multitude of ways for more than two decades. Closing the international entourage, LOCUS has pulled off a booking that arguably the entire scene deemed impossible. Stakka & Skynet will travel to Bali to mark their world-exclusive reunion after twenty years. The duo’s dark and ambient sound is easily some of the best music the scene has come across since its earliest years; and LOCUS Bali is where the duo will come together for the first time in two decades to deliver their magic.

Supporting the star-studded international line-up will be MC GQ, Dynamite MC, Sabrina, Koyuki, Don Darkoe, Patch, JAVABASS SOUNDSYSTEM, JPS, MC Xsessiv and many more to come as LOCUS gears up to announce the second phase of its debut Bali edition.

Get ready for yet another drum & bass experience in paradise at LOCUS, with a line-up to match Bali’s breathtaking surroundings.

Tickets are available at LOCUS Festival’s official website, along with more details about the festival.
