George FM Summer Tour Returns for 24/25

Kiwi electronic dance music radio station George FM has announced their multi-city Summer Tour schedule, kicking off on Saturday, December 14, and running until February across Aotearoa. Sponsored by Tui RTD, the upcoming George FM Summer Tour will rally together the finest crop of international and regional talent, slotting them to shake the foundations at thirteen different venues in New Zealand. Tickets to the George FM Summer Tour 24/25 are brought to you by The Ticket Fairy.

Akin to last season, the first session of this massive jaunt will take place aboard an Ocean Eagle Charters 3-story cruise vessel setting off from Auckland Harbour with an immaculately dressed music card. Currently advertised for the Launch Boat Party on December 14 is George FM Breakfast Hour specialist General Lee, along with stablemates Beccie B, Abeiku, DJ Sam Warlow, and Corbin ‘Bax’ Baxter. This cruise will be headlined by George FM Drive hosts Brook Gibson and Sin and will set sail from 7 PM onwards. Tickets for this show have already sold out; however, you can join the waitlist to gain entry via The Ticket Fairy.

Matakana’s multi-purpose space The Matakana Pub functions as the next destination of this Summer Tour, serving up the likes of Bristol-based DnB/jungle act Crossy, General Lee, Benny Boy, Tizza, Magoo
and a b2b session from NotWell and Codem on Saturday, December 28, from 3 PM onwards.

Riffling through the dates listed for 2025, Whitianga Hotel in Whitianga sees performances by Aunty El and duo Pirapus on January 3, Whangamata’s Whangamata Sports Bar delivers house and techno scoops courtesy of TwoFöld, Benny Boy, and Button B on January 4, and Waihi Beach Hotel loops in Crossy, Tizza and Kenzo on January 5.

After whizzing past locations in Taupo, Auckland, Wellington, Oakura, Hamilton, Queenstown, and Christchurch and beckoning nearly 40 artists over a massive three-month timetable, the George FM Summer Tour concludes on Saturday, February 2, in South Island’s Nelson City at The Buxton. Snuggled within an Art Deco setup, the Buxton premises will be taken over by George FM veteran Dick Johnson, Ben Walker aka Benny Boy, Button B, and Aine.
